What the service is

PointSim is a simulation app that lets you keep the scoreboard of a contest you set up yourself. It does not provide a game, does not impose rules and does not guarantee the correctness of any result: the scores entered into the board are entirely your responsibility.

Licence

You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app on your device for personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not attempt to access the source code, reverse engineer the app, reproduce it, or republish it as a derivative work.

Your content

Contestant names and any other text you create in the app are stored on your device only; they are not sent to us and are not moderated by us. You are responsible for the lawfulness of that content.

Limitation of liability

The app is provided “as is”. It is not warranted to run uninterrupted or error-free. We are not liable for indirect damages, data loss, or disputes over the outcome of a contest arising from use of the app.

Because we hold no backup of the records on your device, data cannot be recovered if the device is lost or the app is removed.

Third-party services

Where advertising is shown in the app, it is delivered through Google AdMob and subject to Google’s own terms. The website uses Firebase Analytics subject to your consent. See the privacy policy for details.

Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time. The current version is always published on this page and marked with a “last updated” date. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
